The 2015 open!
The 2015 open. White Cliffs CrossFit.
A total of 26 athletes took part in the 2015 open from White Cliffs CrossFit, and if you ask any of them, they all broke through barriers, set PB’s and don’t regret it one bit.
You should all be super proud of your effort and your results! Some notable highlights were happening every week, and I am bound to miss a few but these were the highlights!
Becky Rose, first HSPU!! (even if it wasn’t in the workout it doesn’t matter!)
Chelsea Barr, 2nd in Europe for her division!!!
Sammy Patton, a world beating 15.3!
Mick Ware and Dan Wright, 2nd and 3rd respectively in the kent Masters!
Hannah Ribbans and Sally White 3rd and 5th respectively in Kent!
Melanie Richardson, 2nd in the Kent open!
Dan Gaul, 3rd in the kent open!
Kirsty Oliver, 66th in Europe! 1st in kent! Next year may be her year for the regionals!
Again, I know I have missed some highlights and people out, but that does not detract from the effort and the results that you achieved. I couldn’t be happier!
For myself, I am realistic and happy. I wish there was a 35-39 category, I would have been going to the masters regionals, finishing 14th and 5th in the uk. Maybe next year!!
Competition breaks boundaries, keeps us sharp, focuses our training, ramps up the intensity and makes us face our fears. All of this keeps us young and keeps the results coming!
